Connecting Google Business

Step 1: Log into your BVM Dashboard and navigate to the Listings tab at the top of the screen.


Step 2: Scroll down to find the list of online directories that are connected to this dashboard. You will see Facebook and Google at the top of this list. Unlike the majority of the websites, Google and Facebook require manual linking by an admin. 


If you’re not an admin of the Facebook Business page and/or Google Business Profile, you will need an admin from your team to complete these steps. 


Step 3: Click the blue Connect button next to Google if you’d like to connect your Google Business Profile. 


Step 4: Click Start to begin the connection process.

Step 5: Next, choose the email that is connected to your Google Business Profile. Reminder- you need to have Manager level access to complete this action.

Step 6: On the next few screens, your confirmation is required. Click Continue and Allow to proceed. 


Step 7: Click the grey arrow to open up the list of Google Business Profiles you can access. After you click this, the next screen might take a few seconds to load.


Step 8: Next, choose Connect Only One Location. 




Step 9: Choose the Location you would like to connect to the Listings dashboard. If you don’t see the Business that you want to connect, there is an option at the bottom of the screen to look for a different account. 


Step 10: After you’ve chosen the location, you should see a message that the connection was successful.
